Q. This unusual Chinese teapot was given to me by my great-aunt, who lived in China from 1898 to 1901. Dotted around the pottery body there are 17 realistic-looking ceramic nuts and seeds. They form the feet, the spout, the handle, the lid, and also decorations. The only mark, which is in Chinese, is impressed inside the lid. The teapot is about 5 inches tall and 7 inches in diameter from spout to handle. Can you tell me anything about it?
