For example you can enter the words “green mccoy vase” and you will immediately get a list of related news articles with:
fully captioned, color photographs
factory and maker histories illustrated with dated marks
"Kovels Komments" ezine articles with related information

The kovels.com search engine uses most of the standard search techniques. Here are the most common ones you may want to use:
Search for exact phrases using quotation marks (" ") Typing "advertising toy" or "toy airplace" will find items with those exact words in sequence.
Use the minus sign (-) to narrow your search Entering porcelain-doll, tells the search engine to include the word porcelain but not doll. Don't forget - there's no space after the sign (e.g. -, -doll).
Use a wildcard (*) for multiple endings By typing an * (asterisk symbol) at the end of a word, you can search for items with multiple endings. For example: Glass B* would return items such as Glass Blown, Glass Bohemian.
