A few readers reported trouble opening and printing the PDF of the 2009-2010 index. Sometimes this can be due to a setting regarding how your computer opens PDF files. It could also be due to a problem with Adobe Reader 9; readers still using Adobe Reader 8 don’t seem to have this problem.
Try this: open Adobe Reader 9 and click on ‘Help’ at the top, scroll down and click on ‘Repair Adobe Installation,’ then restart the computer. If this doesn’t work, try completely uninstalling Adobe Reader from your control panel and do a fresh install of Adobe Reader 9 (free), making sure to register after installing. If you updated to Adobe Reader 9 straight from Adobe Reader 8, this could help.
