You don’t need to visit a zoo to see lots of animals. We found these creatures while thumbing through Kovels’ New Dictionary of Marks: Pottery & Porcelain, 1850 to the Present. Many different animals, including birds and fish, have been used in pottery marks. Some are shown here.
