Mystery Object - Silver Native American (?) 12 Months ago
My parents were restoring a house in Ventnor City, NJ and found this object in the attic and we're trying to figure out what it is. It looks like a cuff bracelet but the opening is too small for my wrist and the object weighs 2 lbs 5 oz!

It appears to have Native American markings on it and since they're not perfect, I'm guessing they were hand done. The metal is about 1/2" thing and it is 4" across and 2" wide.

Any help solving the mystery would be greatly appreciated.

Chris

Was a photo uploaded with this post? If so, I'm unable to see it, unlike the photo in the post above it.

reed and barton silver soldered pitchers 12 Months ago
Hi,
I found 2 vintage pitchers with attached drip trays in my Mom's closet while cleaning out her house about 3 years ago. I have been trying to date them but have been unable to identify the mark. I think they may be from a hotel in the Washington DC area or possibly from a railroad. They are both marked Reed and Barton, under that Silver Soldered, under that 381, off to the side one has 18 and the other has 10. The lids have the same numbers ( 18 and 10). Above the Reed and Barton there is a small symbol that resembles a crooked 8 or an infinity symbol. I found a web site with Reed and Barton marks used from 1928 through 1957 but nothing looks like mine. Does anyone know? Thank you very much.

Re:Art Deco Horse Head 11 Months, 4 Weeks ago
Well, now I've been told this is a model of a Persian horse. Don't know what to think at this point.
