New to form needs help with mark identity 10 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Hey everyone Happy 4th of July.
I am new to this forum and am searching for help if anyone can identify this(or both) mark(s) on the mustache mug. Been searching the internet for eons without success. Made inGermany is plain as day the marks are in question. Would be interesting to know the time period, history etc. The mug and saucer were found in family items stored in my parents home along with many other porcelain German made items.
Thanks, Lou

You're not looking very hard. Google "German mark's" You will also get Marks for their money. Put your mouse over the German mark's and it will enlarge. Your mark is there and you will also find out what the N mean's on your mug. Google images and enter mustache mug's or whatever else you have. Read my reply's to other post's to get more info.

Telling someone that they are not looking very hard is not a reply I would have made when people ask me for help. First you obviously have no clue the complexity in searches I have made for potters marks alone. There are vast places on the internet most with the same or similar marks but clearly6 I have not found those in picture. Yes Ive looked and searched a lot harder than you think. Googling or searching in Google for "German Mark's" with the use of the ' apostraphy symbol in your defination of a search doesn't mean ownership ie: Maries vs Marie's? That search you suggest brings up the German Mark (Deuch Mark) page which is no help to me at all. If you have found my mark listed in question wouldnt it be more help and simpler to post the URL or website rather than this ridiculous answer that has gotten me nowhere and the assumptions?
Maybe I expected too much.
Just a thought.

From another Forum: Artifact Collectors Posted 5 Hours, 50 Minutes ago Link #2

Looks like a mark by "Unger & Schilde" from the town of Roschuetz in the region of Thuringia in Germany.
