I need help identifying a makers mark please. My wife has a vase with the head of an elephant with its trunk going down between its tusks on it. We would greatly appreciate anyone who can tell us anything about this mark. Thanks in advance.

Lo and behold while looking in my book of mark's for a horseshoe mark that another person was inquiring about I found your elephant with trunk down. Heres what it say's " Mignon Patterson the second filed for right's to this mark on Jan.29th 1946 to use on cup's and saucer's and other tableware that he had been using since Nov. 1946. Does not say any more than that. So there you go!!!!!!
