Pottery Jug or Pitcher marked Poland 1 Year ago
Hi, I am new to "feeds" and blogs, etc. Can anyone help me ID a brown jug (or pitcher). It is brown, with a bit of "smeary" colors of green and tan as a border around the bottom. Has a long thin neck with a tiny pourspout, and a long thin handle. The glaze is thick and shiny. On the bottom it is marked "Poland". I do not see any initials on it. The work Poland looks like the artist carved the letters into the bottom. It is not stamped Poland, more like carved Poland. Any help is really appreciated. Thanks! 4AK
