Wondering what the difference is between marks and listings? Our silver marks include images of marks used on silver antiques, and the information you need to identify your collection. The 7,700 listings are lists of silver manufacturers, often with location, date of activity and other information – but without an image. Some of these manufacturers simply didn't place a mark on their products, and for others, we don't have the image. We'll continue to work to fill in gaps, though unfortunately we can't expect to find all of them.
