I have a whole lot of jewelry I would like to pick to brains on. I acquired this jewelry when my grandfather died, this was his old jewelry collection. I guess what I would like to know is what period is it from, are there any pieces that particularly stand out as more valuable than the rest, and then how much is it worth all as one big lot. If you can help it would be greatly appreciated and if you need a better picture of something just let me know and I can post it.

I will try to help you. First get a magnifying glass. Look all over jewelry for any number's and names. Number's with a K after it means it's gold real gold. look for the word Sterling and set them aside. Make freinds with a jeweler preferably in a small town and ask for his help when he's not busy Some stones can be also valuable and any old watches and cuff link's. Get some professional help with this or your grandfather will turn over in his grave. OK?
