Russel Wright (1904-1976) was an industrial designer who created the famous American Modern dinnerware that changed the shape of modern dishes. It was one of the first solid color dinnerware patterns. He designed many other dinnerware sets, aluminum, woodenwares, furniture, glassware, radios, and other household and industrial items. He even wrote a best-selling book about manners and cooking. See more about this mid-century talent.
