I am trying to find information on Japanese Ivory artisans of the Mejii period. I have a large set of hand carved ivory vanity items, which were once appraised and described from this period. There is a signed cartouche on each piece and I would like to try to identify the artisan. Does anyone know of any online resources for identifications? Thanks
