George Washington's Birthday Print

We celebrate Washington's Birthday this week. Yes, that’s still the official name of the federal holiday that falls on the third Monday of February. It's not "Presidents Day," although that's what your calendar probably says and that's the name a lot of state and local governments prefer.

We're sticking with George Washington here at Kovels. This print from the 1890s reminds us of the legend about George Washington chopping down a cherry tree. The print is in an embossed frame picturing cherry branches. The 11-inch frame is backed by an easel stand and hanging loop.
