If you have stacked two glasses, one inside the other, and they become stuck, try this: Fill the top glass with cold water and ice cubes and let it sit awhile. Then put the bottom glass of the stack in nearly hot water. This should make it easy to pull the glasses apart. Science is helping you. The cold water contracts the glass, and the hot water expands it.

I tried the suggested tip without success over a period of months but did find
that if I filled the bottom glass with water and place the stuck glasses in the
freezer the expanding ice formation forced the two apart without any cracking.
Not sure if I'd try this with fragile glasses.
