Art Museum Endowments

Endowments at art museums are bigger than most of us think. A report in the Financial Times says the top three in the United States range from $5.1 billion to $1 billion. Tops is the Getty Trust in Los Angeles, second the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and third the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
